Maintenance and cleaning of the defibrillator monitor, it is enough to understand the students\' art

1. Keep the defibrillator on?

The defibrillator should be started and every day to ensure that it can be started and used normally. After starting, the battery level of the defibrillator should be checked, and if the battery level is low, it should be checked for an alarm.

Check whether the defibrillation electrode pads of the defibrillator are in place, without oxidation and rust, and clean, disinfect and wipe every day.

The ECG lead cable of the defibrillator is well connected and not damaged, and the connection of the electrode pads is correct and intact. The defibrillator conductive paste is stored with the equipment and has a sufficient amount to ensure that the enterprise can learn and use it at any time. The defibrillator must be positioned by its own positioning system, and all medical staff should be aware of it.

2. What are the types of commonly used system cleaners?

Dilute soapy water, dilute ammonia, hydrogen peroxide (3%), ethanol (70%), isopropanol (70%).

3. What are the cleaning methods?

Disconnect power and battery.

Use a soft cotton ball to absorb an appropriate amount of detergent and wipe the screen. Use a soft cloth to absorb an appropriate amount of cleaning agent and wipe the electrode plate holder or the surface of the device. If necessary, wipe off excess detergent with a dry cloth.

Dry the device in a ventilated, cool environment.

Note: After each use, before the user self-check, thoroughly clean the electrode plate and the electrode plate base.

4. Where should the defibrillator be placed?

Do not use this device in an environment where flammable or explosive chemicals such as anesthetics are placed to prevent major fires or explosions in the enterprise; at the same time, it should ensure that the defibrillator monitor and its impact on the development of surrounding countries and regions are clean and dry.

The device should not be used in environments that contain flammable or explosive items (such as hyperbaric oxygen chambers) to prevent fire or explosion; the defibrillator monitor and surrounding area should be clean and dry.

daily cleaning

1. There is a danger of electric shock! Do not open the device case, there are no service parts inside. Maintenance should only be performed by qualified maintenance personnel.

2. Before cleaning the instrument, please turn off the power and remove the battery.

3. Do not use high temperature sterilization (eg autoclaving). Do not use electron beam or gamma ray sterilization.

4. Do not use a different abrasive or corrosive cleaner.

5. In any case, do not immerse the device or cable in liquid. 6. Wipe the device and body with a cotton cloth soaked in cleaning solution or disinfectant (70% alcohol). Make sure that you do not enter the system equipment enterprise through liquid.

7. Dispose of used disposable electrode pads immediately to prevent reuse.

8. For defibrillation electrodes and leads, wipe clean and sterilize cotton gauze with soapy water or disinfectant. Make sure the electrode is not completely dry before using it again.
